I have enjoyed telling stories real, or imagined, for as long as I can remember. With years of exciting activity coming from a family of 7 children, there were plenty of stories to be told. At 9 years old I wrote a play, “My Prayer”. I dragged my friends from school to act it out. I came from that experience as a confirmed dreamer. I knew stories were my way of tickling the adventures rushing around my mind, only to be told to the eager listener.
As I became a mother I would read to my sons and would continue the story by adding my own flair. They listened with excitement for the next adventure. It was only when I started having grandchildren and in particular my granddaughter Clairabelle that I noticed how interesting and exciting the stories were of Mrs. Buttons. Clairabelle embraced the world of Mrs. Buttons with wonder, excitement, and joy. She loved hearing the stories. The dream to write this book was a direct result of this beautiful little girl.
I have served the world in many roles: as a daughter, a sister, a friend, an aunt, a wife, a mother, a mentor, a coach, a Servant Leader to name a few. But my most fulfilling achievement is being the mother and grandmother to amazing sons and their children.
Mrs. Buttons And Her Magical Cards
The story comes from the heart of an old and young soul combined to fulfill a mission of messages from the heart of giveness. The story enjoins the idea of children creating a soul button card so that it might bring joy to another. The button creates a special touch to each card. The story embellishes the idea that children, by way of a magical button, go off in their dreamland to meet Mrs. Buttons.
